Glancy

Glancy is the opening song on the debut album Autumn’s Fall.

It features a lot of sound effects, including audio quotes from public domain movies.

It is centered around a piano riff.

It was released in 2014, following the single Perfect Time.

„With Glancy, I wanted to do a sort of art rock song revolving around a mysterious-sounding piano riff. I wrote the song when I was 16 years old, as I was fiddling around on the piano. During the recording, I wanted to make the song a bit more interesting and unusual by placing an audio collage into it, consisting of various quotes from old movies which are now in public domain.“

„I like that the guitar solo sounds disoriented, but still melodic.“
